The role involves validating functional and integration flows within Oracle EBS OTC modules, supporting enhancements, system fixes, and integrations. The engineer will ensure robust test coverage across Order-to-Cash processes and lead efforts to improve testing efficiency through automation using UiPath.
Responsibilities
- Validate end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes in Oracle EBS during system changes, patches, integrations, and deployments
- Collaborate with business users to capture real-world operational use cases
- Partner with support and development teams to verify fixes and prevent regression issues
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across OTC modules
- Support user acceptance testing, including defect evaluation and readiness for sign-off
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for warehouse operations, shipping, accounts receivable, and billing functions
- Identify quality assurance processes that can be automated to increase efficiency
- Collaborate with automation specialists to design, develop, and validate UiPath test bots
- Focus on increasing testing efficiency, consistency, and repeatability
- Verify complete data flow across system interfaces, reports, and downstream applications
- Convert business requirements and scenarios into detailed, executable test cases
- Clearly report defects, assess risks, and communicate overall quality status
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of end-to-end OTC processes including order management, pricing, shipping, inventory, invoicing, and accounts receivable or collections
- Strong grasp of business operations such as order entry, pricing changes, order holds, shipping activities, returns (RMA), credit memos, and payment receipts
- Practical experience with Oracle EBS Order Management module
- Practical experience with Oracle EBS Advanced Pricing module
- Practical experience with Oracle EBS Shipping Execution module
- Practical experience with Oracle EBS Inventory module
- Practical experience with Oracle EBS Accounts Receivable and Collections modules
- Experience developing and executing test strategies, plans, and test cases for functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
- Ability to create and maintain test scenarios, test cases, test data, and defect records
- Strong skills in managing defect lifecycles and working with teams to determine root causes
- Experience using UiPath RPA for QA or operational automation, including test execution, data setup, cleanup, and validation of orders, shipments, invoices, and receipts
- Ability to assess QA workflows for potential automation
- Ability to collaborate with automation teams on designing and validating UiPath test bots
- Commitment to improving testing productivity and consistency
- Understanding of how OTC processes integrate with warehouse systems and third-party logistics providers
- Understanding of integrations between OTC and external billing, logistics, or downstream systems
- Ability to validate complete data flows across interfaces and reporting tools
- Proven experience working with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and support teams
- Ability to transform business requirements into effective test cases
- Clear and concise communication of defects, risks, and overall quality status
Nice to Have
- Experience testing Oracle Cloud (Fusion) OTC modules
- Experience working in audit-compliant or SOX-regulated environments
- Familiarity with test management tools such as ALM, Jira, or Zephyr
- Basic knowledge of Oracle EBS database tables and SQL queries for data validation
