As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a central role in maintaining and improving product and process integrity across production and new product development cycles. Your work will directly impact product reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage control plans and inspection documentation aligned with industry regulations and internal standards
- Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Supplier Development teams during new product introduction phases
- Lead participation in design and process FMEA activities, ensuring follow-up and closure of identified actions
- Analyze quality metrics to identify trends, initiate corrective actions, and prevent future defects
- Monitor field performance data and customer feedback to address both product and process-related concerns
- Conduct root cause investigations for internal and field-reported issues, guiding effective resolution
- Ensure in-line and final inspections are carried out according to defined quality plans
- Work with the Management Representative on ISO compliance, internal audits, and quality system improvements
- Support continuous improvement projects and help define updated quality standards
- Organize and deliver training for quality technicians to strengthen team capability
- Advance digital transformation in quality control processes
- Prepare and deliver quality performance reports to stakeholders across functions
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Materials Engineering
- At least 3 years in process quality assurance within a manufacturing setting
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Proven experience in root cause analysis, CAPA implementation, and problem-solving frameworks like 8D
- Familiarity with FMEA methodologies (design and process), control plans, and inspection standards
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools for data analysis and reporting
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with a collaborative mindset
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Residence on the Asian side of Istanbul or in Kocaeli (Gebze, Darıca, Çayırova)
- Experience in heating systems, pressure vessels, or similar industrial manufacturing is preferred
Preferred Background
- Understanding of quality cost principles
- Leadership experience within a quality team
- Knowledge of WCM, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies
- Background in supplier or project quality management
- Familiarity with stage-gate processes in new product development
