Scotiabank is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst

Scotiabank is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst, Regulatory Reporting to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of critical financial regulatory submissions. You will join a purpose-driven team committed to high performance and results in an inclusive culture.

What You'll Do

  • Review, validate, and correct Large Cash Transaction (LCT) and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) reports for submission to FINTRAC.
  • Monitor LCT and EFT reports to ensure timely filing.
  • Use Excel to review and correct reports requiring quality assurance (QA) adjustments.
  • Identify, track, and communicate opportunities for system improvements.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience reviewing and validating financial regulatory reports, specifically Large Cash Transaction Reports (LCTR) and Electronic Funds Transfer Reports (EFTR).
  • Proficiency with Excel for data review and corrections.
  • A strong understanding of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) principles and regulatory frameworks.
  • The ability to work independently on well-defined tasks while escalating issues appropriately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

Team & Environment

You will receive direct supervision from the Manager. Problems and issues are escalated to the Manager and/or Senior Manager, ensuring strong support and clear reporting lines.
