THE CMA CGM GROUP is hiring a Manual QC Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality through rigorous manual testing and collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for various software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new features and bug fixes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Review and analyze system specifications and user stories.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues that automated tests might miss.
- Communicate test results and provide detailed reports on software quality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manual Tester or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools, specifically Azure Devops.
- Familiarity with various types of testing (functional, regression, usability).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of SQL and ability to write basic queries.
- Experience with testing web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
