Responsibilities
- Develop automated test scripts for web and API applications
- Design and execute test plans for new features and updates
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve bugs
- Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks
- Conduct performance and regression testing
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Report and track defects using issue management tools
- Ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements
- Validate backend services and database interactions
- Work closely with product teams to understand requirements
- Improve test coverage across applications
- Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback
- Support deployment verification and post-release monitoring
- Participate in code reviews for testability
- Document testing procedures and results
- Troubleshoot complex system behaviors
- Adapt testing strategies based on development changes
- Ensure compliance with quality standards
- Contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
- Use version control systems for test code management
- Optimize test execution speed and reliability
- Identify edge cases and potential failure points
- Validate user interface consistency and responsiveness
- Support cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Promote a culture of quality across the team
