A Senior QA Mobile Engineer is needed to lead testing initiatives for AI-driven mobile applications, develop automated test frameworks, guide junior team members, and work closely with development teams within an Agile setting to maintain high product quality and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Supervise mobile testing activities carried out by on-site and offshore QA teams
- Improve product quality by detecting and assisting in resolving bugs prior to customer release
- Continuously refine testing processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Work closely with development teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software
- Reduce software development risks by identifying and resolving potential issues early
- Build automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance mobile app performance across Android and iOS platforms
- Promote and apply industry-standard QA best practices to elevate product quality and team processes
- Lead and mentor less experienced team members to support QA team growth and development
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Proven background in testing mobile native applications
- Experience delivering QA for mobile, web, and back-end services
- Proficient with mobile test automation frameworks such as WebdriverIO and Appium
- Experience conducting usability testing
- Ability to understand and represent diverse user perspectives
- Skilled in writing automation scripts from scratch
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail for test case creation, defect logging, and story refinement
- Solid understanding of Agile SDLC, QA processes, methodologies, and tools
- Keen attention to visual details including pixel alignment and margin consistency
- Capable of writing and executing manual test cases for mobile applications
- Maintains a professional, positive, and approachable attitude with discretion
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, open to feedback, and committed to turning ideas into functional solutions
- Experience working in Agile and Kanban environments
- Experience collaborating with external clients, partners, and vendors
- Demonstrates collaboration and positivity that strengthens team dynamics
Nice to Have
- Background in the travel or loyalty-as-a-service sectors
- Experience with Mobile Accessibility (508) testing on iOS and Android devices
- Familiarity with Java and Kotlin programming languages is advantageous
