About the Role
This role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and working closely with engineers to ensure high-quality software releases across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with software developers to understand new features and requirements
- Perform manual and automated testing across multiple environments
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems
- Participate in agile development cycles including planning and review meetings
- Ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements
- Validate API responses and integration points
- Conduct regression testing to confirm stability after updates
- Assist in improving overall test coverage and efficiency
- Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Evaluate user experience for consistency and usability
- Review product specifications for testability
- Contribute to test strategy and planning for new initiatives
- Monitor production for post-release issues
- Stay current with industry testing tools and methodologies
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns
- Help maintain test environments and data
- Execute performance and load testing when required
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards
- Provide feedback on product design from a QA perspective
- Participate in code reviews for testability
- Improve documentation of test processes and results
- Assist in onboarding new QA team members
- Support root cause analysis for critical defects
- Promote a culture of quality across the engineering organization
