About the Role

This role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and working closely with engineers to ensure high-quality software releases across platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications
  • Collaborate with software developers to understand new features and requirements
  • Perform manual and automated testing across multiple environments
  • Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems
  • Participate in agile development cycles including planning and review meetings
  • Ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements
  • Validate API responses and integration points
  • Conduct regression testing to confirm stability after updates
  • Assist in improving overall test coverage and efficiency
  • Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines
  • Evaluate user experience for consistency and usability
  • Review product specifications for testability
  • Contribute to test strategy and planning for new initiatives
  • Monitor production for post-release issues
  • Stay current with industry testing tools and methodologies
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns
  • Help maintain test environments and data
  • Execute performance and load testing when required
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards
  • Provide feedback on product design from a QA perspective
  • Participate in code reviews for testability
  • Improve documentation of test processes and results
  • Assist in onboarding new QA team members
  • Support root cause analysis for critical defects
  • Promote a culture of quality across the engineering organization
