**Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Remote)** **Key Responsibilities:** • Build and maintain rock-solid test automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript • Craft a scalable, reusable automation framework that other engineers will actually enjoy working with • Deep-dive into product requirements and design comprehensive test cases • Develop automated test scripts covering functional, regression, sanity, and performance testing • Execute and monitor automated tests, ensuring killer coverage and bulletproof results • Track and document bugs with surgical precision, guiding them from discovery to resolution • Partner closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and squash issues • Drive high-quality product releases from start to finish **Technical Expertise:** • Playwright test automation ninja (seriously impressive skills required) • JavaScript and TypeScript mastery • Solid grasp of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs • Continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices in your DNA • Git version control expertise • Database knowledge, with SQL being a major plus • API testing toolkit proficiency (Postman, Soap UI, Rest Assured) • Performance testing chops (Jmeter experience preferred) • Total command of SDLC, test methodologies, bug lifecycle, test case development, and risk assessment • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:30 AM to 12:30 PM Note: Candidate must be flexible about working on Indian public holidays, with compensatory time off provided.
