Mid-Level Quality Engineer responsible for maintaining system quality across multiple platforms for a key US customer. Work closely with distributed teams in the USA and Brazil, requiring advanced English communication. Focus on both manual and automated testing practices within a mature DevOps framework.
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to create test scenarios aligned with business requirements.
- Design and carry out test plans and test cases, emphasizing both manual and automated approaches.
- Apply the Test Pyramid concept to guide testing strategy and improve efficiency.
- Conduct manual testing and develop automated test scripts as needed.
- Use Cypress for end-to-end browser testing and Postman for API validation.
- Apply Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices using Gherkin syntax.
- Operate within a mature DevOps environment that includes continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Support junior team members through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of the Test Pyramid and its practical implementation in test strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in creating test plans, writing test cases, and executing tests.
- Experience with test automation tools, especially Cypress and Postman.
- Openness to learning new technologies and adapting to evolving project needs.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
