Consensus is hiring a QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be an integral part of our engineering process, working to identify issues and improve the user experience.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Perform manual and automated testing for new features and regression cycles
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and refine acceptance criteria
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and tooling
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Proven ability to write clear, comprehensive test plans and cases
- Hands-on experience with manual testing techniques across web applications
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems and version control (e.g., Git)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript or Python for scripting tests
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how QA integrates within them
- Experience with performance or security testing
