KoBold Metals is hiring a QA Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our software platforms used for mineral exploration.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Build and maintain automated test suites for regression and functional testing
- Perform manual testing of new features and bug fixes across multiple environments
- Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define quality criteria
- Contribute to improving the overall QA process and testing infrastructure
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance
- Proven experience writing and maintaining automated tests
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and QA methodologies
- Ability to write clear and effective bug reports and test documentation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance, load, or security testing
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests
- Familiarity with testing data-intensive or scientific computing applications
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based in Bucharest. You will be expected to work from the office for a portion of the week, with flexibility for remote work.
