About the Role
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance for a top-tier mobile title, guiding testing strategy, team development, and integration of QA processes across the development lifecycle to deliver a seamless player experience.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall QA strategy for the game
- Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to ensure quality standards
- Implement automated testing frameworks and tools
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics
- Identify risks in development and propose mitigation plans
- Ensure timely resolution of critical bugs and issues
- Manage QA workflows across multiple platforms and devices
- Oversee regression testing cycles
- Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies
- Support live operations and post-launch content updates
- Coordinate QA efforts during major feature rollouts
- Establish best practices for test case design and documentation
- Integrate QA processes into agile development sprints
- Evaluate third-party testing vendors when needed
- Ensure compliance with platform-specific certification requirements
- Lead localization testing efforts
- Maintain test environment and device lab standards
- Advocate for player experience throughout development
- Contribute to pre-production planning for quality considerations
- Manage external QA partners and contractors
- Develop KPIs for QA team performance
- Oversee performance testing and optimization feedback
- Ensure accessibility standards are reviewed during testing
- Promote a culture of quality across all disciplines
Nice to Have
- Experience with Unity or similar game engines
- Prior work on multiplayer or real-time games
