PAR Technology Corporation is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to develop and implement automated integration, UI, and end-to-end test cases. You will use Java and the Serenity BDD framework to ensure the quality of our complex digital systems, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and providing actionable reports.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain automated test cases for complex digital systems offering integrated workflow management, ordering, and payment.
- Apply a holistic testing approach leveraging API, UI, integration, database, and performance automation.
- Integrate test automation results with existing test management tools.
- Provide relevant yet complex test automation reports.
- Closely cooperate with developers, managers, other QA team members, and all project participants.
- Work with testing colleagues to find, improve, and correct errors or suboptimal solutions.
- Prepare time estimates for test case implementation and prioritize tasks in agreement with your manager.
- Submit well-documented and clear periodic reports on performance to management.
- Use the code distribution system (Git) in accordance with established frameworks.
- Work independently and with team members to improve knowledge and competencies and introduce new technologies.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in API/UI test automation.
- Intermediate knowledge of the Java programming language.
- Strong knowledge of API and UI (Web) testing automation frameworks.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Experience in basic setups for CI/CD integrations.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to independently solve complex problems.
- Fluency in the Serbian language.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of performance testing.
- Knowledge of the Serenity BDD framework.
