Jobgether is looking for a Python Backend Engineer to join our team developing a cloud-based SaaS platform for healthcare professionals. You will design and implement scalable backend solutions that have a direct impact on our users across multiple countries.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain scalable backend applications in Python, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support frontend requirements and third-party integrations.
Work with and refactor legacy Python/Django codebases for improved maintainability and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, design, and product enhancements.
Implement automated testing, conduct code reviews, and maintain high code quality standards.
Ensure performance optimization, troubleshooting, and security best practices.
Document code, processes, and technical procedures.
Stay current with emerging Python technologies and SaaS industry trends.

What We're Looking For

Strong proficiency in Python, with solid experience using Django or similar frameworks.
Proven track record in developing and maintaining SaaS applications.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, API design, and system integration.
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and cloud services, preferably AWS.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively refactor legacy code.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and performance optimization.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English.

Nice to Have

Experience with payment systems, cloud-based solutions, or security and compliance standards.
