At 4Soft GmbH, we are looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our team working on demanding development projects for well-known clients. You will modernize legacy systems while developing with modern technologies in an agile Java environment.

What You'll Do

Work on demanding development projects for major, well-known clients.
Develop with modern technologies in an agile Java environment (e.g., Spring Boot).
Modernize client-server communication from CORBA to a newer architecture.
Take responsibility for the development and testing of your components and their interfaces.
Ensure well-structured and readable clean code.
Share knowledge with team colleagues during sprint and code reviews and be open to suggestions for improvement.
Continuously develop yourself professionally.

What We're Looking For

A successfully completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualifications.
Solid knowledge and extensive practical experience in the Java environment.
Good German language skills.
