Provide expert psychiatric care from anywhere as part of a dedicated virtual care team. In this role, you'll conduct comprehensive mental health assessments via secure video visits, evaluate patient histories, and monitor mental status to inform diagnosis and treatment planning. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through ongoing medication management and behavioral health treatment planning.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations using video-based platforms
- Review and interpret patient medical histories, mental health records, and clinical findings
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications based on individual patient needs and responses
- Develop, adjust, and monitor personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records including examination results and progress notes
- Participate in scheduled chart reviews as part of ongoing quality assurance processes
- Collaborate with other clinicians to support integrated care without supervision requirements
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted M.D. or D.O. license in your state of residence
- Current board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP)
- Graduate of an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program
- Commitment to ongoing medical education and clinical excellence
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and digital health platforms, including Athena
- Experience using digital tools in clinical settings
