About the Role
The position involves providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and management services to individuals across the lifespan using telehealth platforms. Responsibilities include diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing therapy in alignment with clinical best practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations via secure video conferencing
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions following evidence-based guidelines
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Collaborate with care coordination staff
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to patient messages within established timeframes
- Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions
- Support continuity of care across treatment phases
- Adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards
