Legion Health is looking for a clinically excellent, patient-centered Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality outpatient psychiatric care via telehealth. You will join a collaborative team focused on compassionate, evidence-based treatment for patients in Texas.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and treat patients with conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, incorporating mental health and medical history along with risk analysis.
- Create and execute tailored treatment plans that combine medication and brief psychotherapy.
- Collaborate with other mental health and medical professionals as part of a team.
- Participate in case reviews with peers and physicians to enhance clinical skills and support ongoing learning.
- Explore and integrate new therapeutic techniques and technologies to improve patient outcomes and care efficiency.
- Promote an environment of compassion, respect, and empathy in all patient interactions.
What We're Looking For
- Active, unrestricted license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Texas.
- Active, unrestricted DEA license in Texas.
- Board certification as a PMHNP (ANCC).
- Residency in Texas.
- At least 1 year of professional experience practicing as a PMHNP.
- Commitment to a minimum 1-year tenure with our team.
- Comfort providing care remotely via telehealth.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort using technology and electronic health record systems.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered, compassionate care.
