Booming Games is looking for a Prototyping Engineer to join the Math team. In this role, you will develop prototyping tools and algorithms that power new game functionalities. You will be instrumental in transforming mathematical models into playable prototype games, shaping the future of our iGaming portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Report to the Team Lead Prototypes
- Develop algorithms for new maths models and game features
- Validate and simulate mathematical models
- Participate in low-level maths profile requirements production
- Participate in weekly game concept meetings for creative brainstorming
- Support existing maths models and features
- Support the Mathematicians on the team
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
What We're Looking For
- Proficient in Java
- More than 2 years of experience in software development
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of statistics, probabilities, and combinatorics
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Nice to Have
- Javascript knowledge
- Passion for creating exciting games
- Strong creative, problem solving, communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail
