Remote Recruitment is looking for a Property Administrator to support a UK-based property firm’s operations by working remotely from South Africa. You will be the backbone of daily property activities, ensuring smooth communication and meticulous record-keeping.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for tenant queries and escalate as needed.
- Liaise with landlords, contractors, and letting agents to coordinate property maintenance and repairs.
- Manage tenancy documentation including lease agreements, renewals, and notices.
- Ensure compliance with UK property regulations such as gas safety certificates and deposit protection.
- Update and maintain property management systems and databases.
- Support the lettings and renewals process by preparing relevant paperwork.
- Assist with rent collection monitoring and arrears reporting.
- Produce regular reports on property performance and maintenance issues.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a property administration or property management role.
- Strong knowledge of UK residential property practices and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with property management platforms such as Arthur, Fixflo, or Reapit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup.
- Reliable internet connection and own laptop.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. The successful candidate will work from South Africa, supporting UK-based operations.
