About the Role

GuidePoint Security is hiring a Project Manager (North Central) to manage a portfolio of security-focused Professional Services engagements for our clients. In this remote role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects, serving as the primary point of contact and potentially as a billable resource for Project Management service delivery. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure successful outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and define projects, collaborating with various teams to establish scope and approach.
  • Communicate weekly with PMO and Practice Leadership regarding status updates and strategies.
  • Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams comprised of Engineers, Architects, and project sponsors.
  • Work with Architects & Engineers to develop project roadmaps, cutover/implementation plans, and As-Built documentation.
  • Manage communication, including the status of project health, and ensure delivery within schedule and scope.
  • Own risk management and escalate issues that cannot be resolved within the team.
  • Consult with stakeholders to gather and document requirements and specifications for solutions and enhancements.
  • Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to develop reports and key risk indicators.
  • Define execution plans based on project scope, timeline, and available budget/resources.
  • Manage a combination of Waterfall and Agile-based development efforts from analysis to maintenance.
  • Manage day-to-day program operations, monitoring and maximizing key cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure pre-defined project management processes are followed and drive simplification and improvement as necessary.
  • Verify the quality of deliverables matches stakeholder expectations.
  • Track project outcomes and customer satisfaction through established metrics and ensure lessons learned are collected.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a mix of Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or Cyber Engineer roles.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity and/or SaaS.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AppSec and Vulnerability Management is highly preferred.
