GuidePoint Security is hiring a Project Manager (North Central) to manage a portfolio of security-focused Professional Services engagements for our clients. In this remote role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects, serving as the primary point of contact and potentially as a billable resource for Project Management service delivery. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure successful outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Plan and define projects, collaborating with various teams to establish scope and approach.
- Communicate weekly with PMO and Practice Leadership regarding status updates and strategies.
- Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams comprised of Engineers, Architects, and project sponsors.
- Work with Architects & Engineers to develop project roadmaps, cutover/implementation plans, and As-Built documentation.
- Manage communication, including the status of project health, and ensure delivery within schedule and scope.
- Own risk management and escalate issues that cannot be resolved within the team.
- Consult with stakeholders to gather and document requirements and specifications for solutions and enhancements.
- Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to develop reports and key risk indicators.
- Define execution plans based on project scope, timeline, and available budget/resources.
- Manage a combination of Waterfall and Agile-based development efforts from analysis to maintenance.
- Manage day-to-day program operations, monitoring and maximizing key cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
- Ensure pre-defined project management processes are followed and drive simplification and improvement as necessary.
- Verify the quality of deliverables matches stakeholder expectations.
- Track project outcomes and customer satisfaction through established metrics and ensure lessons learned are collected.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a mix of Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or Cyber Engineer roles.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity and/or SaaS.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AppSec and Vulnerability Management is highly preferred.
