Responsibilities
- Oversee project execution across timelines, interfaces, budgets, changes, contracts, and risks, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders as needed.
- Create and maintain the Project Execution Plan, ensuring it aligns with client standards, methodologies, and project goals.
- Establish and maintain a productive working relationship with the Airport Transformation Manager.
- Lead coordination efforts to identify and manage all project interfaces across the project lifecycle.
- Keep the RACI matrix current and accurate to clarify roles and responsibilities.
- Work with technical teams to oversee design consultants and external service providers.
- Lead design review meetings and convey design approvals to the Contractor.
- Ensure design changes are communicated promptly to all relevant parties.
- Deliver monthly progress reports covering all project stages, including construction activities.
- Maintain and regularly review the project risk register, including updates during monthly meetings.
- Identify opportunities to enhance project management processes, templates, and deliverables, escalating suggestions when appropriate.
- Use performance tracking methods to monitor and improve project outcomes.
- Manage the change control process efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
- Ensure structured information flow between project teams and the client through regular meetings and reporting.
- Review and approve contractor-submitted schedules.
- Act in accordance with principles of mutual trust and cooperation as outlined in the NEC contract.
- Issue formal communications and documentation per the Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) and meet all contractual duties.
- Carry out Project Manager responsibilities under the client’s contract, staying aligned with their objectives.
- Manage the compensation event process to ensure fair and timely evaluation of client-initiated changes.
- Ensure contractors submit compensation event notifications promptly to safeguard the client’s position.
- Evaluate and certify payments at each scheduled assessment period.
