Responsibilities
- Lead planning team members in creating and maintaining schedules for complex projects or programmes.
- Advance continuous improvement in planning and related project controls processes to enhance efficiency and client value.
- Assist in deploying, embedding, and rolling out changes to schedule management methods.
- Establish planning standards for internal teams and supply chain partners, ensuring adherence.
- Coordinate the creation and upkeep of Integrated Master Schedules, including vertical and horizontal alignment of supporting plans.
- Lead the development of supporting documentation for Integrated Master Schedules, such as the Basis of Schedule.
- Prepare inputs for Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis and integrate schedule contingency into planning strategies.
- Analyze alternative strategies or recovery paths for delayed schedules.
- Provide training and coaching to clients and junior team members on planning methodologies.
- Critically assess schedule data to confirm realism, robustness, and defensibility.
- Monitor project management reporting systems that summarize progress across all projects.
- Track and advise on the status of key project performance indicators.
- Interpret and explain periodic Earned Value Management (EVM) reports.
- Support recruitment initiatives to expand and strengthen project controls expertise.
- Perform line management duties, including career development and performance evaluations.
- Contribute actively to national and regional risk communities, including Communities of Practice.
