About the Role

AECOM is hiring a Project Controls Manager to lead the development and implementation of robust project controls systems within an integrated delivery partner environment. You will act as an extension of the client team to ensure accurate planning, cost management, scheduling, and performance reporting for large-scale infrastructure programs.

What You'll Do

  • Provide clear, insightful reporting to clients, tailoring outputs to their decision needs.
  • Partner with project managers to develop recovery plans and scenario analyses.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program schedules across multiple workstreams.
  • Implement schedule risk analysis and scenario planning to support proactive decision-making.
  • Establish and manage cost control systems, including budgets, forecasts, and earned value analysis.
  • Monitor financial performance and report on cost trends, variances, and mitigation strategies.
  • Deliver timely program performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs for client and governance forums.
  • Drive data integrity and transparency across the integrated team, leveraging digital tools and analytics.
  • Support risk identification and quantification processes, integrating risk data into forecasts.
  • Manage change control processes, ensuring impacts on cost and schedule are assessed and communicated.
  • Implement best-practice project controls frameworks, tools, and standards.
  • Champion continuous improvement and digital enablement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field.
  • 10–15+ years of experience in project controls on major projects or programs.
  • Advanced skills in scheduling (Primavera P6/MS Project), cost control, and forecasting.
  • Experience in risk management and quantitative analysis.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Power BI/Excel and experience with enterprise cost systems.

Nice to Have

  • AACE or PMI certifications (e.g., CCP, EVP, PMP).
