Airbnb is hiring a Programs and Business Operations Lead to power the growth of our new Services business. In this pivotal role, you will provide the analytical and strategic horsepower to scale this venture, translating insights into action and aligning teams across the company.
What You'll Do
- Use SQL and advanced spreadsheet skills to surface insights and build scalable reporting to track performance and inform decisions.
- Partner with Analytics and Finance teams to deliver actionable insights to leadership, distilling complex data into clear takeaways.
- Lead and contribute to strategic initiatives that drive growth and efficiency for Services, balancing near-term problem solving with long-term scaling.
- Work closely with product, marketing, finance, operations, and supply teams to align on priorities and deliver results.
- Take ownership of assigned initiatives—shaping plans, owning outcomes, and identifying the next opportunities to scale.
- Develop high-quality presentations that communicate strategy, insights, and business performance clearly and persuasively.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years in strategy, operations, or business leadership roles within high-growth environments.
- Experience building and scaling new businesses.
- BA/BS required.
- Advanced SQL, Excel, and Google Sheets skills with the ability to translate data into strategy.
- Proven ability to execute complex programs, improve processes, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills; adept at engaging executives and cross-functional partners.
- Track record of aligning diverse teams and fostering accountability and transparency.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working independently in a startup-like environment.
- Positive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented mindset with genuine enthusiasm for Airbnb’s mission and community.
