About the Role

Bombardier is looking for a Program Manager to join our Smart Services team, responsible for managing dynamic revenue programs like Smart Parts Plus, Smart Parts Preferred, and Smart Services Elite. At Bombardier, we design, build, and maintain the world's peak-performing aircraft, and this role is central to supporting our customers and driving operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on program impacts, including financial benefits, risk exposure, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Coordinate Smart Services cost reduction initiatives across business units, ensuring consistent methodology, accurate tracking, and timely delivery of savings targets.
  • Develop standardized processes and controls to improve transparency, accountability, and decision-making related to cost initiatives.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in existing cost management strategies.
  • Support executive leadership with dashboards, insights, and recommendations to drive informed decisions on investment, divestment, and efficiency priorities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional governance meetings, steering committees, and reviews to maintain alignment and resolve roadblocks.
  • Gather market feedback on desired improvements to Smart Services offerings and contribute to refinements or development of new offerings.
  • Gather publicly available information on similar programs for comparison purposes.
  • Grow network of external and internal industry contacts to monitor various information sources for market capture opportunities.
  • Draft customized terms and conditions and submit to contracts department to finalize.
  • Maintain integrity and continuity of Smart Services Programs as well as contract updates and improvements in conjunction with Legal and Contracts teams.
  • Interpret incoming requests from Smart Services Sales and Operations to raise proposals and contractual language.
  • Support discussions with Smart Services Sales, Operations, and prospective customers to clarify and promote benefits of Smart Services participation.
  • Lead representation of the Cost per Flight Hour (CPFH) program in supplier contract negotiations, ensuring program requirements and cost structures are clearly communicated.
  • Assess and validate all operational elements of proposed solutions or contract changes to ensure readiness and alignment before implementation.
  • Participate in aircraft sales activities from time to time to integrate Smart Services offerings.
  • Attend trade-shows and other events on occasion in support of promoting Smart Services.
  • Develop business cases for customized offerings.
  • Steer periodic pricing reviews for Smart Services product offerings.

What We're Looking For

  • University undergraduate degree in marketing, business, aviation management, a D.E.C in aircraft maintenance or equivalent job experience.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Excellent skills in customer handling and interpersonal communication and are diplomatic and patient.
  • Confident and have good presentation skills.
  • Driven to succeed and dedicated to achieving goals within deadlines and enjoy daily interaction with customers, colleagues and senior management.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision in diverse situations.

Nice to Have

  • At least ten (10) years relevant aviation experience.
  • Understanding of costs and behaviors of aircraft maintenance.
  • Knowledge of cost-per-flight-hour programs, aircraft service center maintenance sales, aircraft warranty, procurement negotiations and aircraft maintenance planning or reliability analysis.
  • Bilingual English and French.

This is a hybrid position based at our Administrative Centre (CA).
