The University of Cincinnati is looking for dedicated educators to join its Department of Computer Science as full-time, non-tenure track Assistant, Associate, or Full Professors – Educator. In this 9-month role, you will be central to our educational mission, teaching a variety of courses and contributing to the development of future computer science professionals.
What You'll Do
- Teach graduate and undergraduate computer science courses, with particular emphasis on programming languages, operating systems, computer architecture, data structures, and/or algorithms.
- Contribute to service-related activities, such as serving on departmental and college committees.
- Advise undergraduate students on senior design projects and mentor graduate students on capstone projects.
- Participate in curriculum and course development, including distance learning classes and e-learning experiences.
- Contribute to the department’s educational and mentoring mission, preparing students to become high-performing professionals through academic and career guidance.
What We're Looking For
- Prior to the effective date of appointment, a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
