UASI is looking for a detail-oriented Profee Coding Auditor to join our remote HIM consulting team. What You'll Do

Perform coding audits and reviews on a variety of professional fee record types, including Evaluation and Management, surgical CPT, hospitalist, and inpatient/outpatient pro-fee services.
Audit coding across multiple specialties such as Primary Care, ENT, Cardiology, Emergency Department, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Behavioral Health.
Conduct research to provide clients with supportive regulatory and coding guideline documentation from sources like the Official Coding Guidelines and Medicare/Medicaid manuals.
Assist in designing and presenting educational seminars for clients and staff.
Collaborate on senior-level projects including assessments, developing audit tools, creating educational materials, and designing coding test content.

What We're Looking For

AHIMA or AAPC certification.
2-5 years minimum experience performing E/M audits and reviews, plus previous coding experience.
The ability to remain impartial and objective in finalizing and presenting audit findings.
Strong computer skills, including the ability to utilize various EMR systems and UASI audit software, and transfer files securely in compliance with HIPAA.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for confident interaction on-site and via webinar or conference calls.
