nVent is looking for a Production Worker to contribute to our world-class manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will support production tasks, assist with machine operation, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment across multiple shifts.
What You'll Do
- Place products in or on equipment and work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
- Load and unload items from machines and conveyors.
- Assist in machine care by adding coolant and lubricating parts.
- Help start machines or equipment to begin production processes.
- Support other production workers by supplying or holding materials and tools.
- Perform housekeeping activities to keep shop areas and equipment clean and coordinated.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Ability to stand and use your hands to handle material for over two-thirds of the time.
- Capacity to lift items weighing an average of 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within a manufacturing setting.
- An understanding of specific and general safety policies and procedures related to the plant and position.
