LyondellBasell (LYB) is looking for a Production and Raw Material Planner to join its Oudsbergen team. In this role, you will create production schedules based on customer requirements, available capacity, raw material availability, and other production data to best meet customer needs. You will also monitor inventory and place orders to achieve optimal stock levels.
What You'll Do
- Check available capacity to schedule orders, considering existing planned orders and resources, and assign them to the appropriate production line.
- Check available raw materials and lead times, and reorder materials in SAP as needed.
- Keep schedules up-to-date to provide accurate information to Customer Service about scheduled products.
- Update production data (standard output) in SAP.
- Place orders for raw materials for short-term planned production.
- Determine raw material requirements based on information from SAP.
- Enter and track purchase orders in our ERP system.
- Monitor daily deliveries of raw materials and contact suppliers as needed.
- Update the planning and inform customer service.
- Coordinate purchase quantities to minimize obsolete stock.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable role.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP.
- Knowledge of planning techniques.
- Excellent written and spoken Dutch and a good command of English.
