KBC Group is looking for a Product Owner to take charge of the SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) tool within our Contract Lifecycle Management Center of Excellence. In this role, you will become the central authority for master data across the organization, ensuring high-quality data, aligning processes, and steering the tool's strategic development.
What You'll Do
- Ensure master data is high quality, correct, and maintained according to common rules.
- Own requirements for modifications and further development of MDG, determining priorities and direction.
- Define how data quality is measured, controlled, and how problems are resolved.
- Collaborate with colleagues from IT, SAP teams, and other departments across the company.
- Help align the approach to data between different countries (CZ/SK/BE) and business units.
- Oversee that MDG fulfills all important regulatory requirements.
- Approve and manage the data model structure.
- Take responsibility for topics that connect multiple departments, from Procurement to Risk, Compliance, or CLM.
- Manage changes related to MDG, from new features to data model adjustments.
- Ensure users are prepared for changes with correct information, training, and support.
What We're Looking For
- Analytical thinking and a desire to uncover root causes when the application does not behave as expected.
- English – spoken and written at a professional level for meetings, emails, and chat.
- Clear communication across users, team, and suppliers.
- Responsibility and ability to see things through to completion.
