10x Team is hiring a freelance Product Owner - AI Trainer to lead the strategic development and refinement of our AI-powered products. You will be the key liaison between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring our AI systems are performant, ethical, and user-centric.
What You'll Do
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for AI training initiatives
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog for AI model development and data annotation projects
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts to define AI training requirements
- Design and oversee the creation of high-quality training datasets and evaluation criteria
- Analyze model performance and user feedback to drive iterative improvements
- Act as the primary stakeholder for AI training quality, timelines, and deliverables
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technology-driven environment
- Direct hands-on experience with training, fine-tuning, or evaluating AI models (e.g., LLMs, computer vision)
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear requirements and user stories
- Experience with Agile methodologies and backlog management tools like Jira or Asana
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across distributed, remote teams
Nice to Have
- Background in data science, machine learning engineering, or computational linguistics
- Experience working with AI training platforms and data annotation workflows
- Understanding of responsible AI principles and ethical AI development practices
Work Mode
This is a fully remote, freelance position with a flexible commitment of 8-20 hours per week.
