Flagstone International is hiring its first dedicated Product Manager, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of our product function from the ground up. As a remote-first company, you’ll manage delivery across 1-2 small, cross-functional squads while working closely with senior leadership to define our ways of working, tools, and product roadmap.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end product delivery process — run agile/lean ceremonies, manage backlogs, remove blockers, and ensure the squads can ship efficiently and often.
- Establish and evolve our delivery framework — help define how we work: tools, rituals, documentation, feedback loops, and release hygiene.
- Maintain and communicate compelling, realistic product roadmaps with an initial horizon of about 6 months, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
- Champion fast feedback and iteration — bring clarity and urgency to learning what works, using product analytics, user feedback, and experimentation.
- Communicate openly and constructively about deviations from plan, helping the team course-correct as we learn.
- Shape our product culture by embedding lean product principles and continuous delivery practices into the company’s DNA.
- Regularly interface with leadership, including the Director of Product Engineering, COO, CEO, board, and investors, to represent product thinking and progress.
What We're Looking For
- Experience running product delivery for multiple agile squads in a scale-up or early-stage business.
- A strong grasp of lean product principles and modern agile practices.
- Proven ability to manage and communicate product roadmaps in a fast-moving environment.
- A collaborative mindset — you work well with engineers, leadership, customers, and commercial teams alike.
- Ability to bring just enough structure, process and tooling to an evolving team — and the confidence to change them as you go.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with product analytics tools and using data to prioritise.
- A bias toward action and a clear sense of accountability.
- Comfortable working in a complex environment where priorities change rapidly and there are usually a number of things going on at any one time.
Nice to Have
- Experience in banking, fintech, regtech, or regulated environments.
- Exposure to Microsoft-centric engineering environments.
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, or platform-as-a-product thinking.
Technical Stack
- Azure DevOps (for planning/tracking)
- Azure cloud infrastructure
- Heap analytics
- Microsoft Teams and 365
Team & Environment
We’re around 30 people at the moment and growing. You will manage delivery across 1-2 small, cross-functional squads of 3–4 engineers each, and work closely with the Director of Product Engineering, the COO, the CEO and senior leadership.
Benefits & Compensation
- Autonomy and impact of an early-stage product role with the financial security of a stable parent company.
- Blank canvas to shape our product ways of working and the opportunity to scale a function around you.
- Remote-first, transparent, lean culture.
Work Mode
This is a remote position. We are a remote-first, transparent company that believes in lean thinking, fast feedback loops, and building high-quality software that solves real customer problems.
Flagstone International is an equal opportunity employer.
