Labconco Corporation is looking for a Product Manager to own the strategy, management, and growth of an assigned portfolio focused on containment and laboratory safety. You will build market understanding, identify opportunities, and serve as a key technical resource for dealers, end users, and internal teams in an environment designed to let you stand out and make a global impact.
What You'll Do
- Manage marketing activities to promote your product portfolio, including developing sales and dealer support materials, promotions, and annual marketing plans.
- Research markets, product applications, and the competitive environment; bring new product ideas and competitive intelligence to the New Products Committee.
- Lead Product Development Team(s) for your portfolio; develop Product Development Proposals and implement Market Introduction Plans.
- Use field travel to build market knowledge and assist Sales Representatives and customers directly.
- Collaborate with Marketing Communications to develop promotional programs and educational content.
- Provide training, conduct seminars, and create training materials for your assigned product portfolio.
- Understand product applications and operation; gather and publish user applications to encourage development supporting new and existing uses.
- Provide technical, application, and sales support for your portfolio to Customer Service, Field Representatives, Inside Sales, Dealers, and End Users.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (preferably in life sciences); or three to four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a laboratory setting with a solid understanding of laboratory equipment, its use, and applications.
- Experience with technical instrumentation, pharmaceutical containment, and/or inert glove boxes for chemistry or materials science applications.
