Cognizant is seeking a Product Engineer for our Retirement domain. You will be a valued member of our Technology & Engineering team, designing, optimizing, and supporting core product solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners to deliver secure, scalable, and high‑performing system capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement robust product architectures aligned to business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to integrate features and ensure seamless system functionality.
- Analyze and optimize existing applications to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, conduct code reviews, and drive root‑cause analysis for complex technical issues.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
What We're Looking For
- Strong expertise in Linux Shell Scripting, OMNIPlus, OMNIScript, VSAM, and COBOL.
- Experience designing and implementing product architectures in complex system environments.
