About the Role
The Product Designer will lead the creation of intuitive, accessible digital experiences, working closely with product and engineering teams to deliver solutions grounded in user needs and research insights.
Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces and experiences for digital platforms
- Conduct user research to identify pain points and needs
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers throughout development
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing
- Maintain consistency across products using design systems
- Translate complex requirements into simple, usable designs
- Participate in design reviews and team brainstorming sessions
- Ensure accessibility standards are met in all deliverables
- Support the creation of product documentation and specifications
- Track design performance using user engagement metrics
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Advocate for user needs during product planning phases
- Work within agile development cycles
- Communicate design concepts clearly to non-design stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for neurodiverse audiences
- Familiarity with assistive technologies
- Previous work in mission-driven or nonprofit environments
- Knowledge of child development or learning science
- Experience with design system maintenance
- Proficiency in motion design or prototyping tools
- Additional language skills beyond English
