Superwall is hiring a Product Designer to design the paywalls and onboarding flows that make mobile apps more money. You will own paywall and onboarding design across our diverse client base in an agency-like setup, working alongside growth managers to design, test, and improve monetization flows.
What You'll Do
- Design and iterate on paywalls, onboarding screens, and monetization flows for Superwall's mobile app clients.
- Work with growth managers to understand each client's goals, test hypotheses, and improve conversion through design.
- Track performance of your designs using conversion metrics, A/B test results, and funnel data to inform every iteration.
- Build reusable patterns and templates that scale across multiple mobile apps and app categories.
- Push the craft of paywall and onboarding design forward.
- Work across all clients in a high-variety, fast-paced environment with context-switching.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in product/growth design for mobile apps including paywalls, onboarding, conversion flows, and subscription UX.
- Experience owning paywall, onboarding, and monetization flow design end-to-end in a product company or on a mobile app.
- Understanding of mobile app monetization tools like Superwall, RevenueCat, Adapty, or Purchasely.
- A portfolio with shipped mobile paywall and onboarding screens that performed, showing what was built, replaced, and its impact.
- Strong UI craft including typography, spacing, hierarchy, and mobile-native patterns.
- Comfortable iterating fast based on data from A/B tests, conversion metrics, and funnel analysis.
- Understands the psychology behind purchase decisions including pricing presentation, urgency, value framing, and trial flows.
- AI-native workflow using AI tools to accelerate design process from generating variations to automating tasks.
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Strong communication skills for working directly with clients and internal growth managers.
- Proficient English (written and verbal).
- Based in EU or US East Coast timezone.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in an agency or multi-client environment.
- Have your own mobile app or side project with subscriptions.
- Experience with mobile app growth, ASO, or subscription analytics.
- Experience running or contributing to A/B tests on paywalls or onboarding flows.
