Chime is looking for a Product Designer (Mid) for a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. You’ll join a cross-functional product team, owning design projects from discovery to high-fidelity UI and working embedded with product managers and engineers to ship commercially meaningful work.

What You'll Do

Take design from initial discovery and sketching through to polished, high fidelity UI ready to build.
Work closely with product managers and engineers to understand problems before jumping to solutions.
Run and contribute to user research, using insights to validate decisions and iterate.
Design across web and mobile with a strong awareness of cross device experience.
Benchmark fintech and automotive trends to bring informed, relevant thinking to the team.
Present work clearly at different stages and adapt ideas based on feedback.
Contribute to design quality in the team, joining crits and maintaining a high bar for accessibility and UX.
Support the marketing team with design needs including website, email campaigns and presentation decks.

What We're Looking For

A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product experience.
Solid UI, interaction and visual design skills.
Demonstrable commercial experience in a product design role.
Expert level Figma skills, including prototyping.
Clear, organised communication.
A collaborative mindset, giving and receiving feedback well, and supporting the team.
Self-motivated and able to manage priorities and deadlines.
