Lola Blankets is hiring a Product Designer to build the connectivity layer freight has been missing. Our platform normalizes real-time telematics data from hundreds of thousands of trucks into a single API. Your job is to make this dense, technical data feel simple for sophisticated operators. As our first design hire on a 15-person team, design isn't a handoff—it's how we think through problems before we build. You'll set the visual and experiential standard for everything we build.
What You'll Do
- Design customer-facing interfaces: data dashboards, analytics views, operational workflows, developer tools, and configuration interfaces.
- Shape and maintain our visual identity across the website, sales collateral, marketing graphics, presentations, email campaigns, and event materials.
- Evolve how we communicate our platform online, designing pages that make complex workflows legible to non-technical buyers and credible to technical ones.
- Work directly with product and engineering to move ideas from concept to shipped product, structuring problems visually before development begins.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in product design, UX/UI, or a hybrid product and brand design role.
- A strong product design foundation in wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready UI.
- Experience designing data-heavy interfaces, with an understanding of information hierarchy and how people scan dashboards under pressure.
- Ability to cover brand and marketing design without treating it as a lesser task.
- Natural collaboration with engineers, understanding constraints and knowing when to push back.
- Strong visual taste and judgment to know when something isn't ready.
- Comfort operating without an existing design system or brand bible, and energy to build them.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SaaS platforms, data products, or developer tools.
