Makro PRO is looking for a Product Designer to shape user-centered design solutions for our B2B e-commerce platform. You will be instrumental in discovering insights and crafting distinctive, branded digital experiences that serve our business customers.
What You'll Do
- Advocate for user-centered design solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct user research to discover insights, define user personas, and map user journeys.
- Create distinctive, branded digital experiences across multiple platforms, devices, and channels.
- Develop new product concepts, storyboards, detailed interaction designs, screen flows, and prototypes.
- Create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes for validation and development.
- Produce compelling visual designs aligned to company and product brand standards.
- Conduct concept and usability testing to iteratively validate and improve design solutions.
- Actively collaborate as part of an agile team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately.
- Track user experience metrics and report on the success of UX/UI improvements, including analytics.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to plan, conduct, and synthesize user research and usability testing.
- Skill in creating interaction design solutions for desktop, web, and mobile applications.
- Strong visual design skills, with the ability to create compelling, branded, high-fidelity product screens.
- Familiarity working with design systems that consistently scale across platforms.
- Hands-on experience designing consumer applications for desktop, web, and mobile.
- Proven experience working in design teams in an Agile product development setting.
- Experience planning and conducting user research at various stages of the design process.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design choices to users and non-designer stakeholders.
- Creative problem solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to produce high-quality creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Combined skills in 2 out of 3 of the following: User Research, Interaction Design, Visual Design.
- Ability to synthesize abstract ideas into tangible design solutions.
- Passion for problem solving through design and a belief in taking an iterative approach.
- A strong sense of ownership and a proactive drive to advocate for the end user.
- Openness to taking on new challenges and learning new skills.
- A collaborative, curious, empathetic, open-minded, and innovative mindset.
