Parsons Transportation Group is hiring a Procurement Specialist to support business operations and compliance management for our Supply Chain. In this remote role, you will be responsible for supplier onboarding using the SAP Ariba platform and other supply chain applications.
What You'll Do
- Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to complete assigned Supplier onboarding tasks in the SAP Ariba system in a timely manner.
- Track progress and collaborate with internal support for technical issues or operational situations that delay registration.
- Support stakeholders with operational process knowledge and status information to achieve resolution.
- Create operational documentation, including training resources.
- Support audit requests from compliance and internal/external audits relating to process controls.
- Perform other responsibilities associated within Supply Chain as appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field and typically 2 years of related work experience.
- We will consider experienced individuals in lieu of an academic requirement.
- Experience working in the SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) module.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional areas within the company.
- Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.
