About the Role

Alstom is seeking a Procurement Operations Analyst to provide essential support to our procurement operations. You will apply your expertise to aid buyers in daily tasks and collaborate with teams across the business, contributing to a stable and transformative career in the rail industry.

What You'll Do

  • Resolve administrative issues related to purchase orders.
  • Perform expediting and follow-up activity for Purchase Order confirmation.
  • Check and solve potential issues between Purchase Orders and System Information.
  • Support Requests for Quotation (RFQ) in process-specific tools.
  • Investigate and solve assigned parked invoices.
  • Maintain positive and professional communication with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Create, update, and maintain ERP systems.
  • Be involved in process standardization, optimization, and automation.
  • Ensure compliance with Procurement Directives and legal policy.
  • Record quotations and pricelists in the system.
  • Analyze demands and maintain an updated and correct info record for different materials.
  • Aid buyers with ad hoc procurement-related tasks.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business studies.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient level of English.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize your own workload.

Team & Environment

You will be part of a large, shared-service team with over 800 professionals in HR, Finance, and Procurement & Supply Chain. You will report directly to Luca Adriana, the Country Team Lead in Cluj-Napoca.
