Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (SEA) is hiring a Process Integration Engineer to focus on incoming technology transfer, productization, and process optimization for the 28nm node and above. You will be responsible for new product introductions, yield and process margin improvement, and maintaining processes for mass production.
What You'll Do
- Solve problems related to reliability, packaging claims, depressed yield, in-line trend shifts, and process/integration weaknesses.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to address integration margins and process improvements.
- Enhance knowledge of fabrication sensitivities impacting device performance, yield, packaging, and reliability.
- Maintain and improve processes for mass production, demonstrating total product ownership.
- Assess KPI gaps and generate and execute improvement plans independently.
- Utilize experience with 8D reporting methodologies.
- Work typical hours with potential off-hour activities and coverage as required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in physics, electrical engineering, or a STEM-related field.
- Required experience in Yield or Process Integration in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Knowledge of unit part processes used to fabricate planar MOSFETs and interconnects.
- Understanding of critical interactions between processes and the application of materials, chemistries, and patterning techniques.
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Experience with LSI manufacturing processes strongly preferred.
