Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable in unit part processes used to fabricate planar MOSFETs and interconnects.
- Understands the critical interactions between processes and reasons for applications of materials / chemistries and patterning techniques.
- Enhances knowledge of fabrication sensitivities impacting device performance, yield, packaging and reliability.
- Duties will include problem solving related to reliability/packaging claims, depressed yield, in line trend shifts, new product introductions(NPI), integration margins and resolving process/integration weaknesses.
- Focus on maintaining and improving processes for mass production.
- Proven ability to assess KPI gaps and generate and execute improvement plans without significant oversight. Work with process groups when necessary to attain objectives.
- Demonstrate total product ownership
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments.
- Experience with 8D reporting.
- Work days and hours: Typically Mon-Fri 8-5 but off hour activities and coverage may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher, in physics, electrical engineering or STEM-related field.
- Experience in Yield or Process Integration in semiconductor manufacturing is required.
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry and Master's is preferred.
- Experience with LSI manufacturing processes is strongly preferred.
