About the Role

BMW Group is looking for a Process Automation Specialist to join our Process Management & Quality department. You will be a key player in automating our processes, combining deep knowledge of process analysis, automation technologies, and AI integration to realize complete end-to-end automation solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Dive deep into our existing business processes to discover opportunities for automation and improvements.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement smart automation solutions using tools like UiPath, N8N, GAIA, Python, OnBase, or similar platforms.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, project managers, process owners, business analysts, data analysts, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure process automations can be realized.
  • Keep existing automation workflows up-to-date by continuously maintaining, optimizing, and ensuring they remain reliable and compliant.
  • Clearly document automation designs, workflows, and specifications, following our department's guidelines.

What We're Looking For

  • A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • An affinity for integrating AI into process automation.
  • Drive and ambition for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Nice to Have

  • Programming skills (e.g., in Python) are a plus.
