About the Role
This position involves building and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility, and supporting analytics initiatives across the organization through robust data infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for large-scale datasets
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure reliable data flow
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to understand data needs
- Optimize data storage solutions for performance and cost-efficiency
- Ensure data quality through monitoring and validation processes
- Support the integration of data from multiple internal and external sources
- Work with cloud-based data platforms and services
- Document data models, workflows, and system architecture
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Improve data security and compliance with privacy standards
- Assist in defining data governance policies and standards
- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools
- Support real-time and batch data processing workflows
- Contribute to the design of data warehouses and data marts
- Collaborate with machine learning teams on feature engineering pipelines
- Monitor system performance and implement scalability improvements
- Ensure high availability and reliability of data infrastructure
- Participate in agile development cycles and sprint planning
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise
