Nationwide Children's Hospital is hiring a Prior Authorization Specialist-2 to coordinate patient accounts from the prior authorization stage through billing, payment, and follow-up. You will process billing for home health agencies, maintain current knowledge of regulations, and assist in resolving billing problems.

What You'll Do

Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for homecare services.
Process and submit insurance claims for reimbursement.
Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and billing information.
Monitor and track outstanding claims and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to homecare billing and reimbursement.

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two years of experience billing public and private insurers for medical services using a computerized billing system.
