Cerity Partners is looking for a Principal Wealth Advisor to serve as a key relationship manager, ensuring high client retention and exceptional outcomes. You will lead client meetings, develop personalized wealth planning strategies, and collaborate across departments to grow assets under management. This role is central to onboarding new clients and expanding existing relationships.
What You'll Do
- Build strong, long-term client relationships.
- Analyze clients' current financial health, help set short and long-term financial goals, and design realistic plans including investment policy and portfolio construction.
- Provide estate planning solutions and document summaries while working with clients' estate attorneys.
- Provide income tax planning advice while working with clients' tax preparers.
- Coordinate client meetings including materials, agenda, and post-meeting action item follow-up.
- Answer clients’ questions with superior service.
- Provide financial planning using e-Money.
- Determine the appropriate level of financial plan and support for each client and adjust service accordingly.
- Be a superior, proactive communicator who adjusts your message and style to client needs.
- Maintain a disciplined approach to client follow-up.
- Enthusiastically advocate the values, ethics, and unique approach the company takes to personal financial planning.
- Maintain all data in Salesforce and follow designated workflows and compliance procedures.
- Independently source new client revenue and expand upon existing client relationships.
- Independently develop and communicate wealth planning strategies and manage client relationships.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree
- Series 65 license
- Completion of CFP® or CFA designation, CPA, JD, CHFC, or another approved advanced designation/degree
- 7-10+ years of industry experience

- Proficiency in e-Money, Salesforce, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
