Jobgether is seeking a Principal Staff Artificial Intelligence Engineer to lead the strategy for simulation-based validation and testing of next-generation autonomous vehicle systems. In this role, you will define and execute advanced simulation and AI methodologies to ensure safety, reliability, and performance in complex virtual environments. You'll guide a team, influence technical strategy, and collaborate across functions to deliver scalable, high-quality simulation solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of simulation-based validation strategies for autonomous systems.
- Define best practices and frameworks for testing AI models and autonomous behaviors in simulated environments.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering innovation and technical excellence in simulation methodologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with AI, robotics, and software teams to integrate simulation into the broader development lifecycle.
- Develop and implement robust validation methods, performance metrics, and evaluation strategies.
- Influence technical roadmaps and strategic initiatives to align with company objectives and product milestones.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in simulation, testing, or validation for AI or autonomous systems.
- Proven expertise in developing or testing large-scale machine learning systems, including LLMs/VLMs.
- Deep understanding of simulation platforms, validation frameworks, and data-driven testing methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in software engineering and programming languages used in simulation and AI development.
- Experience across the full machine learning lifecycle—from data generation and model training to deployment and monitoring.
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex AI validation challenges into practical engineering solutions.
