Jobgether is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing our AI-powered products. In this remote role, you will bridge product requirements with complex technical execution, creating scalable backend systems and collaborating closely with product managers, data scientists, and the broader engineering team.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure for AI-powered products.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines and integrate internal and external data sources.
- Stay current with AI model developments and apply them to product features.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of product requirements, focusing on speed, accuracy, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Contribute to the architecture, code quality, testing, and documentation of all systems.
- Influence feature development, technical design, and innovation within the product roadmap.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of experience in backend systems, cloud architecture, and software engineering.
- Strong expertise in parallel and concurrent programming.
- Proven ability to build robust, testable, and scalable software systems.
- Experience designing APIs and collaborating with other teams for integration.
- Proficient in Python and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with cloud deployment, infrastructure as code, and modern development workflows.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI APIs, agentic workflows, and data pipeline development.
