Roofr is hiring a Principal Product Manager, Suppliers to own the full product lifecycle for supplier-related features. You will be instrumental in our growth by building a trusted roofing platform through deep customer research. This role focuses on transforming user needs into product strategy that changes the trajectory of their businesses.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full product life cycle from discovery to delivery, with an emphasis on customer research, user testing, definition of acceptance criteria, acceptance testing, and analytics.
- Define and analyze key performance metrics.
- Regularly speak with customers to gain insight on their specific needs and build a product that can change the trajectory of their business.
- Work as part of a dedicated product development team (consisting of you, a product design partner, and a team of software engineers) to build great software.
- Support efficiency & velocity of product delivery by maintaining a runway for the engineering team.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a software product manager.
- Experience ideally in a high-velocity, B2B SaaS environment.
- A demonstrated ability to break large problems down into smaller, testable hypotheses.
- A strong intuition for product design and user experience.
- Significant customer research, user testing, and/or product analytics experience and expertise.
- Experience with 3rd-party API integrations.
- You are a clear communicator who can create simple explanations of complex concepts.
- You are curious but skeptical, and don’t settle for the first explanation offered to you.
- You're adept at leveraging AI tools to significantly enhance the quality of our PDL.
- You’re a critical thinker who doesn’t settle for the status quo.
- You’re obsessed with providing a world-class user experience.
- You sweat the details.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL, Segment, Amplitude and creating/maintaining event-tracking schemas.
- Experience in vertical SaaS field service industries (like roofing, construction, home services).
Team & Environment
You will report to the Director of Product Management and work as part of a dedicated product development team with a product design partner and a team of software engineers.
